Burnt Rollways Boat Hoist Schedule

 

  • May/June:  Hoist opens yearly the Saturday immediately preceding Memorial Day.  NEW THIS YEAR: Closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's in May, June and September.   *Open Memorial Day Monday* Open days are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
  • July/August:  Open daily 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.   Reservations required for passages between 6 and 8 p.m.
  • September:  NEW THIS YEAR: Closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's in May, June and September. *Open Labor Day Monday* Open days are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Closes yearly on the last Sunday of September.  
*Hoist Operators will close the hoist on rain/washout days.  Please call the hoist phone at 715-218-6514 for information on whether the hoist is open for the day.

**WVIC reserves the right to close the boat hoist or deny passage to any boater due to impending inclement weather or any other reason deemed valid by the hoist operator.
