Cedar Falls Campground Rules & Fees
Cedar Falls Campground now requires reservations. Reservations must be made at least 1 day prior to arrival. Please reserve sites online, rather than relying on first come first serve as in the past. If you do not have a reservation, please see the campground supervisor for site availability.
The 2023 camping season is May 4 – October 15. We ask for your
cooperation with the following rules to ensure your camping stay is enjoyable
and safe.
Campground Use and Rules
1.
ONE CAMPING UNIT PER SITE (for
example, a tent, camper-trailer, pickup truck camper, RV motor home), unless otherwise approved by the Campground Supervisor. No more than 2 vehicles may be placed on site pad; tents may be set up on grass.
Additional tents per site must be approved by Campground
Supervisor and may be subject to an additional fee. Overflow vehicle parking is
available near the storage building or in the east overflow parking lot.

Except for the boat launch, use of any campground facilities by non-registered Cedar Falls campers is prohibited without Supervisor approval.
4.
Camping permits are valid from 2:00 pm on first day of stay until noon on the last day of the stay.
5.
QUIET HOURS are observed from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Please respect your fellow campers.
6.
Use the dry erase boards in Comfort Station and at the bulletin board to report
broken or damaged campground facilities or alert the campground supervisor during
campground checks.
7.
The shoreline areas and established
paths are considered open areas available to all guests.
8.
FIRES are permitted in fire rings only and must be attended. DO NOT MOVE FIRE RINGS. Firewood
collection within the campground is not permitted.
9.
GARBAGE AND RECYCLING: recyclables - glass, aluminum and steel cans,
plastic containers, newspaper, magazines - must be separated from garbage.
Garbage should be bagged and deposited in the dumpster at the waste site near
the storage building.
Dispose of dishwashing water at
the sanitary dump station or comfort station.
10.
PETS must be kept on a leash. Pick up, bag and dispose of pet wastes in
the garbage dumpster.
11.
BOATS may be moored on the beach
below campsites.
12.
Use the shoreline areas at your own risk. There are no lifeguards.
13.
Only DATCP-certified or firewood harvested locally within 10 miles may
be brought into the campground.
14.
ATV/UTV’s must remain on the truck or trailer used for transport inside
of the campground. Overflow parking and ATV/UTV
trailer parking is available in the east parking lot for a fee of $5.00/night.
PROHIBITED IN THE CAMPGROUND
The operation of minibikes,
off-road vehicles/ATV’s & golf carts. Fireworks. Discharge or brandishing
of any firearm including BB or pellet guns.
Children in Fish House without adult supervision. Solicitation without
prior approval of the campground operator.

Other Fees
- Boat landing annual permit: $50.00
- Island-camper parking: $5.00 per night
- Storage fees: $5.00 per night, $25 per week ($30 per month
WINTER ONLY)
- Non-camper sanitary dump: $10.00 per dump.
- Willow Flowage remote camper shower: $5.00 each.
- ATV/UTV or trailer parking in east lot: $5.00/day.
